Welcome to Residents Guide. These ground rules explain how our platform works and what we expect from everyone in our community.

1. Our Community and Your Agreement
Residents Guide is operated by Residents Guide LLC (“Residents Guide,” “we,” or “us”). We create neighborhood guides, local directories, and discovery tools to help you explore and connect with your area.
By browsing our guides, creating an account, or submitting content, you agree to these Terms alongside our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy. If you do not agree, you should not use the platform.
2. Who Can Use Residents Guide
Our neighborhood guides are open for anyone to explore. To create an account, save favorite spots, or leave reviews, you must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and able to form a legally binding agreement.
3. Community Ground Rules
We built Residents Guide on local trust. When using our site, you agree to:
- Act with integrity. Keep your account details accurate, use your real identity, and do not impersonate others or create deceptive profiles.
- Share honest experiences. Reviews, ratings, and comments must reflect genuine, personal experiences. Never submit fake reviews, accept payment for ratings, or attempt to manipulate local recommendations.
- Respect your neighbors. Do not post content that is harassing, threatening, discriminatory, defamatory, or hateful.
- Respect platform security. Do not scrape, crawl, harvest data, or interfere with how our platform operates without our written permission.
4. What You Share With Us
You own all the photos, reviews, tips, and materials you share on Residents Guide.
When you post content on our platform, you give us permission to host, display, reformat, and share it across our guides, apps, and discovery channels so neighbors can find it. You confirm that you have the right to share anything you upload and that your posts do not violate anyone else’s rights.
5. Independent Local Businesses & Accuracy
Residents Guide connects you with local businesses, venues, and events. Unless we explicitly state otherwise, these businesses operate independently. We do not own, manage, or employ them. When you visit a business, book a service, or attend an event found on our site, your transaction is directly with that business.
We work hard to keep neighborhood guides fresh and accurate, but operating hours, prices, menus, and event schedules can change quickly. We encourage you to confirm important details directly with the business before making plans.
6. Platform Evolution and Updates
We are constantly working to make Residents Guide more helpful, accurate, and enjoyable for local communities. To do this, we regularly add new features, test interface designs, adjust discovery tools, and update how content is organized.
We may update these Terms as our services grow or as laws change. If we make a significant update, we will notify you through our website or by email. Continuing to explore or use Residents Guide after an update takes effect means you agree to the new terms.
7. Closing an Account or Pausing Access
You can stop using Residents Guide or close your account at any time.
We want to keep our community safe and trusted. We reserve the right to remove content, pause account access, or close accounts that violate these ground rules, harm other members, or misuse our services.
8. Disclaimers and Liability
We provide Residents Guide “as is” and “as available.” While we do our best to maintain a reliable and secure platform, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Residents Guide LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the platform or your interactions with businesses found through our guides.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming.
